About The Role:

As a Product Designer on the Growth Team at Time Doctor, you play an essential role in optimizing user experiences that drive trial conversions, enhance the billing process, and engage users throughout their trial period. Your work will directly influence growth metrics, focusing on conversion rates and user retention. You will leverage user research, user testing, competitor benchmarking, data analysis, and innovative design strategies to create impactful solutions that align with our Growth team's objectives and broader business goals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • User Research:
    • Conduct user interviews to understand specific pain points and validate potential solutions.
    • Perform user testing for new and current features to enhance usability.
    • Analyze user session/screen recordings to understand behaviors, pain points, and inefficiencies.
    • Propose design solutions based on user research findings.
    • Create reports and share insights with the product team.
    • Lead trial stage user research, interviewing various user types.
  • Competitor UX Benchmarking:
    • Conduct competitor benchmarking to stay updated and inform feature development.
    • Perform competitor benchmarking for specific features, proposing ideas for improvement.
    • Create reports and share findings with the product team.
  • Product Design & UX:
    • Design and validate solutions to customer needs or pain points, focusing on improving user experience.
    • Generate creative design solutions for customer needs or pain points.
    • Develop user interface mockups, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
    • Create user test plans for design solutions.
    • Make informed design decisions, focusing on thoughtful and strategic solutions.
    • Align design solutions with business goals to ensure they contribute to desired business outcomes.
    • Design, execute, and manage multiple experiments to test and refine design solutions, leveraging data-driven insights to continuously improve the user experience.
  • User-Centered Design Process (UCD):
    • Follow the UCD process for new features and improvements.
    • Stay updated with new techniques to incorporate into the UCD process.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Actively participate as a key member of the product team.
    • Work cohesively with the product trio to ensure that design solutions align with business goals and technical constraints.
    • Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging feedback and open communication within the team.
    • Collaborate with the product trio to design, execute, and manage multiple experiments, leveraging collective expertise to inform and refine design solutions through data-driven insights.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience using user testing tools (e.g., Clarity, UserBob, or others).
  • Proficiency in conducting user testing, interviews, and journey mapping.
  • Creative thinking, strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on usability.
  • Proficient in Figma for wireframes, UI mockups, and prototypes.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Experience developing designs for A/B tests for growth-focused design initiatives.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B Product Design, UX Design, User Research, or similar roles.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and discretion.

Milestones:

  • Conduct user research activities as required.
  • Conduct empathetic user interviews.
  • Execute competitors benchmarking activities as required.
  • Identify and define UX problems, delivering effective solutions.
  • Set and manage priorities effectively.
  • Handle sensitive personnel information with the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders.
